Richard Strolis ties his Beach Comber streamer. Richard describes this pattern as “A really simple streamer mainly designed to represent sand eels, but could easily be altered for bay anchovies or any smaller salt water or even freshwater baitfish. The fish skulls are also used in the construction of this particular fly and really make this one a real winner.”

HI
I grew up in Mass. on the coast. I have fished for Stripe Bass when ever I have had a chance. I now live in Idaho and whenever I go Back to visit I still go out for a couple of trips to fish. Can you send me more info on tying these patterns.I’ve been tying flies since the age of fourteen, I am now seventy and still love to tie. I especially enjoy salt water and streamers.
