Fly is a thing of bearty if it catches fish as good as it looks it’s a winner in my opinon.

Thanks for your comment! I admit to never fishing these jay series of patterns, due to the expense of the Eurasian Jay wing feathers for the flies. I never had access to the feathers until the mid-1990′s. But these patterns date back into the 1880′s and earlier, they were used for brook trout and landlocked salmon. I appreciate your comment; “A thing of beauty,” I have always loved the jay wing flies because of the unique wings. Thanks again for your compliment!
