* The Marlow Buzz as presented here is nearly identical to the Brown Hackle Peacock. And while not listed in the recipe for this and other flies with peacock herl bodies, an effective way to strengthen fishing flies with peacock herl bodies is to use fine gold wire, counter-wound over the body. The fine gold wire blends well with the sparkle of the peacock herl.
