Nice pattern. would be nice to offer a printable page of these various patterns posted here.
I always marvel at Lucien’s innovative patterns and use of materials. I thought I had every material in the inventory but I have never seen the synthetic quill. Where can we get or how to we make this material.
interesting design! Those synthetic quill dont half make the job easier!
Very nice pattern ! I´will tie some flies to fish
they in Patagonia my next trip in February.

Great pattern and I too would like to know where the synthetic biot material can be located. Spring is closer than we think.
Very nice pattern well tied. I think I will give this a try. Thanks for putting it on the web.
i like the patterns,so nice
Nice design on the fly thank you for sharing.
Ive used polyethelene strips cut finely, for the synthetic quill. Use markers to color on white poly. BTW very nice tie, very simplistic.
It’s a really nice pattern, I will make some
and try them next time that I’ll go fishing.
Very nice.
I’ve tied and sold a similar fly very like this one for years when I lived on the Tweed Coast in NSW OZ. and as quick as I could make them the were sold.
The customers used it for both fresh and saltwater species, depending on what size was the only difference.
