Nice video!
Awesome video, a new take on traditional boring tying videos. The fly itself screams steelhead!
I am glad you can ty flies but it does not mimick anything real in nature where there are real wild steelhead like in the Pacific northwest as opposed to great lakes planters fresh water fish only not real steelhead just big trout because they do not go to sea!!! There is a big difference!! The Steelhead can see the difference in color and if they do not recognize the fly they just ignore it!!!
Spot on, Dimitri. And, for all those naysayers out there… it’s probably the best, most attractive steelhead pattern to come down the pipes in a long while. It works. IT WORKS. I know. I speak from experience.
May I ask what would you use for a smallmouth fly in this style? Getting ready to go on a canoe trip in S. Mo. (Current River) where smallmouth are the main target!
I’d love to watch this at a slower speed….. I don’t think the pattern is a secret is it? It looks like a great design…
