Chasing Summer Tail

Videos — By on October 30, 2014 1:58 pm

I tend to spend a lot of my summer in a very magical and special place. Home to some of Idaho’s most aggressive and beautiful species, the Bull and Cutthroat trout. Here are some frames from a few fishy weekends in the mountains.

Why do they keep squeezing the fish as they release them? This rubs all of the protective slime off the fish and is very harmful. Are these guys new to fishing? Somebody who knows what he is doing please show these guys how to handle a trout!

pretty bad. detestable music, trout fishing is supposed to be tranquil and relaxing. Ditto on squeezing the fish. What’s the idea of pointing the rod downward into the main stream of the brook? To make the fish pull harder on the rod? Why not just tie a plastic bag and drag it into the current?

Come on guys, yes I noticed the release squeeze too, but don’t be such haters. They could fight them forever and bash em on the head with a rock. Where is it written that trout fishing videos are supposed to be tranquil and relaxing? I don’t like the music, but when I make a video then I’ll do as I please. Thanks for sharing the pics of awesome places and fish.
