Matt Lotridge

My name is Matt Lotridge. For 27 years I have lived in the beautiful northwestern state of Idaho. Boise is my hometown and the center of a fantastic valley with options for tailwater and freestone fly-fishing in every direction. My interest in the sport has only been brewing for close to two years now, but it has taken ahold of me like nothing else I’ve ever known. I’m sure many fly fishermen can relate to my passion for the art.

I have found that many people on the river are of a wide variety, and being able to respect each to their own is the best rule of thumb. Myself, I enjoy the inviting others to the stretch that I’m on and never shy away from learning the tactics and knowledge that each has to offer.

Fly fishing has become not only a passion for me, but a way of life. Thanks for your time and help keep our rivers clean by packing out all that you pack in.
