Hi, my name is Jan (if you were Dutch, you would pronounce it ‘Yon,’ and thus my nick name is Janni (Yonnie). Jan is a Dutch form of John) and first of all I am a Christian. I have been fly fishing since the age of twelve. I spin fish also, but naturally my favorite is fly fishing. I have also been fly tying for a while. I tie all sorts, but my favorite kinds are stacked and spun deer hair bass bugs, and Classic Dry flies.
I live in the Columbia Basin in Washinton State, and I love hitting the local places, from Rocky Ford, which holds five-pound plus Rainbow Trout, to the reed beds in my local Moses Lake for Largmouths. I love fishing, Macro Photagraphy, and writing.
