Hook - Daiichi Model 2220/Size 10
Thread - Black UNI-Thread (6/0)
Weight - 10 wraps of 0.020" diameter lead free wire
Tail - Sable Fur (small tuft - roughly length of hook gap)
Body - Sable Fur dubbing
Collar - Sable Fur (enclosed in a small dubbing loop and wrapped as a hair hackle collar)
Head - Tying Thread
Materials are listed in the order they are tyed onto the hook.
After the fly is finished, brush it vigorously with a piece of velcro teeth to rough it up good. Then brush it with a tooth brush to form the taper.
Thread - Black UNI-Thread (6/0)
