Thread, utc 140 fl. orange
Tail, (feelers) a few strands of orange duster strands, about 15
Tag/tip, mouth parts a bit of henry’s purple haze hi light hair blend dubbing.
Body, legs white disco yarn marked with an orange marker
Rib, tying thread
Eyes/attractor spot, black fabric paint for eyes, on top of shank, and a bit of god sparkle fabric paint below the shank slight forward
under wing, innerds a strip of red fabric paint from the eyes forward
shellback, 7 layers of glad press n seal marked with an orange marker trimmed to shape and dunked in plasti dip twice
Its a simple tie, and I am going to refine it, pm me if you would like tying instructions as there is a lot of explaining![]()

red wool, Krystal flash, glad press’n’ seal, fabric paint, sally hansen’s, flexament, synthetic duster fibers,
Red wool and a few strands of K.F, (Krystal Flash) are lashed to the hook for a tail. Several strands of Press’n’seal are layed flat and on top of each other on a sheet of glass with k.f., fabric paint, sally Hansen’s, and flexament and marked with markers. hen cut into a thin tapered strip to form body. The rest is the same with different colours of fabric paint, markers and nail polish, the legs and antenna are synthetic duster strands two for front legs, three for middle set and 4 for rear legs, placed between sheets of glad press’n’seal, with tips of duster sticking out. Heat kinked and coated with fleament. the eyes and head is fabric paint![]()

Foam hackles, thread, bead chain eyes zap a gap, fabric paint, and the wings are something I am tinkering with.
This is just a “blueprint fly”. I am tinkering with something fairly new for the wings. ![]()
