Shuttlecock buzzer

Hook: Partridge Oliver Edwards Nymph Emerger #14
Body: Thread 12/0 olive
Rib: Fine silver wire
Thorax: peacock herl (melanistic)
Wing: CDC tied forward
Tie the wing to imitate emerger - good angle forward with a buidl up of thread to avoid the eye.
So many possible options here - change colour / size etc to match chironomids hatching.
You could add in a parachute hackle for better stability in a breeze.
