Tipsy Craw
By deeky on Apr 24, 2008 in Fly Patterns, Warmwater
Hook: Eagleclaw Kahle style, size 4
Thread: Danville Flymaster 6/0, dark tan
Weight: Barbell eyes on bend, conehead at hook eye
Claws: Red Fox tail gaurd hairs
Antenae: Moose mane, rootbeer Krystal Flash
Eyes: Burned mono, colored black
Legs: Large hackle, brown
Body: Red Fox Tail underfur
Shellback: Swiss Straw, brown
Ribbing: Medium copper wire
Thread conehead to hook eye and then tie in barbell around the first bend. How far around the bend they are determines how high the craw stands. Tie in claws, antenae, eyes, shell back/rib, hackle, and then body, in that order (or something like it).
