Plastic tubbing
black thread
dubbing
16 curved dry/emerger hook
start thread 1/4 way behind the eye and wrap to the mid bend.
tie in tubbing and wrap thread back to starting point
wrap tubbing forard to 1/4 way behind the eye, then wrap back to the bend and again back to the fron of the hook. this will give you 3 layers of tubbing for the body/ pupae caseing.
tie off and cut tubbing
place a small amout of dubbing on the thread and build the thorax in the front 1/4 of the hook.
whip finish

tail: krystal flash
under body: thread
body: ribbed krystal flash
thorax: rust hairs ear dubbling
Tie in krystal flash tail
tie in single strand of KF
build under body of black thread
wrap forward to start of thorax
rib on KF strand up to thorax
tie off and dub on hairs ear
make a wrap or two of dubbing
build head with thead and whip finish

Body brown, white, and chartruse saddle hackle
Head. spun deer hair, or foam
palmmer long/ softer saddle hackle from tail end to head in three layers. you can change the order up if you like. then spinn a full deerhair head or tie in a peice of foam head. and finnish

Hook: standard 12 wet
Thread: 8-0 back nylon
Tail and wing: mottled turkey wing
Body: yellow floss
rib: peacock herl
tie in paired wing sections for tail
tie in single, strong strand of herl
tie in floss
wrap thread to 3/4 way up shank
build floss body up to thread and tie off.
make 3 tight wraps of herl ribbing and tie off
tie in paired wings
build thread head and finnish
