Green Caddis Larva »

Thread: UTC 70d Olive
Hook: Curved Caddis Hook Sizes 14 thru 18
Abdomen: STS Trilobal Dub, Caddis Green
Thorax: Black Hairs Mask blended w/ Black UV Ice dub

To create the Highly segmented abdomen, You first dub a tapered body on the thread(you need to build up more than you think).Insert dubbing twister and Double the thread back up to the bend of the hook, you have created a dubbing loop. Close of the the loop and move thread up to the tie off point. Spin dubbing twister to create a tight dubbing noddle. Wrap abdomen forward and tie off. I create the thorax with another dubbing loop. Lay on small amounts of black dubbing mixture to thread. This will create a spikey thorax region, clip it close on the top side of fly
