I bought both the box and the insert which is very reminiscent of the popular C&F boxes. This combination is about 1/4th the price. The plastic insert is much better than the C&F paper insert. This box is deeper than the C&F box which means it doesn't fit into most fly vest pockets but because it is deeper it holds large parachute flies w/o compressing the parachute posts. The foam is deep which holds flies securely. I don't particularly like the large clasp, preferring the smaller clasp of the C&F box. (Posted on 6/18/12)
