These boxes are sturdy, compact, efficient, and a great value. Although I haven't used the C&F boxes first hand, I have checked out their build quality and these GC boxes match or exceed the C&F's in all areas, at a much lower cost. This box is nearly identicle to the C&F box I already own... In fact, If the outside markings weren't different I couldn't tell them appart. The inside is where there are differences. 1, the hinge is far superior than the C&F box I own and 2. The swing leaf is much more sturdy! Time will tell but first impression is I wish I would have found this box before I spent 2x the money for the C&F... The split foam (what holds the flies) is every bit as good and maybe even better than the C&F, plus it is a darker color which helps my eyes see diferences in fly color. Over all, a great buy and I'll be looking into getting a couple more when I fill these up... (Posted on 7/26/12)Quality Price Value
