Made it out yesterday in search of the first trout of the year.  Drove far and wide covering lots of miles and water.  Even with the great weather the water is still on the cold side and the fishing was slow.  Slow fishing on a great day beats doing most anything else.  Saw turkeys, deer, boatloads of grackles, red-wing blackbirds, geese, a few red-tailed hawks, turkey vultures etc.
